About Me

I'm a Philadelphia based public historian, researcher & creative producer with experience across the media, heritage, tourism, and higher education sectors. I’ve lived and worked in the US, UK, and Spain.

I hold a B.S. in Film & Television from Boston University and an M.A. in Public History from the University of York, along with a TEFL certification from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. I’m also a postgraduate member of the Royal Historical Society.

My academic research explores how media and the digital world shapes historical memory, especially in the contexts of commemoration, identity, and public interpretation. My MA dissertation, “‘Hitler-comedy’ and the strained expectation of history,” examined how humor mediates traumatic pasts. Before shifting fully to the heritage and media sectors, I supported educational and public-facing research initiatives through roles in operations, teaching, and project coordination.

A selection of the organizations I’ve worked with:

Logo for Hull Minster featuring a stylized white tower on a dark purple background with the words 'Hull Minster' underneath.
Colored text blocks with the words 'FIND THE STORY.' in bold letters, arranged vertically in purple, blue, and teal colors.
Blue and white logo of the Unauthorized Oaxaca with an icon of a historic building or monument.
Logo for BU TV featuring a black circle with a red border, the words 'BU TV' in white, with 'TV' inside a red circle and three curved lines above it to suggest sound waves.
A coat of arms with a gold laurel wreath, a blue shield with three torches, a golden chevron, and a lion with wings. Greek text on a banner reads 'ΑΛΗΘΕΙΑ ΣΤΗΝ ΠΑΡΑΙΣΘΗΣΗ'.
Yellow dragon logo with the word 'Drexel' beneath it on a dark blue background.
University of York logo with a crest and text.
Logo for The Museum Collective in black and white
Logo of Queen's University Belfast featuring a shield with a book, a hand, a lion, a crown, and a harp, with the university name written next to it.
Red and white logo with the letters D and D and a small dot above the middle of the logo.
